Design The T-Mobile MyTouch 4G has a similar shape and look as the rest of the MyTouch family, but there’s a noticeable difference in weight and feel. The myTouch has a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a VGA camera on the front, primarily for video calling. There’s also a small touch pad below the attractive 800x480 LCD screen, for navigating without using the touch screen. The carrier said it plans to expand its footprint to 100 major metropolitan cities by the end of the year. Another is a voice command app called the Genius Button. Animations can be jerky. The MyTouch 4G comes with the Swype keyboard installed, though if you don’t like it, you can turn it off and peck away on a regular onscreen keyboard. This will help you dislodge the phone’s back cover. Also, you can edit Microsoft Office files, view PDF and image files, and decompress ZIP files. The front bezel of this phone is wide on the sides, so the display is actually a lot narrower than it appears at first glance. It’s running Android 2.2 and also supports the carrier’s HSPA+ network. Up at the top of the phone, you have your power/lock button on the right and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the left. Segan is also a multiple award-winning travel writer. While he’s a fourth-generation Manhattanite, he now lives in Queens with his wife and daughter. I know this is supposed to be a midtier camera.
